Back in the last decade, Siltbreeze reissued 3 Axemen releases, Scary! being the 2nd in the set. Originally issued in 1989 solely on cassette & containing many Axemen deep cuts, it was the perfect set of songs to truss up in some new boots & panties in the gender-confused Double Ohs. While on the surface the contents might sound fragmented, or ruminative,  listen better and you'll hear the mystifying ooze lactating out of the four sides of Scary! not as individual, insurmountable constructs of bizarreness, but as a coherent pattern of brilliant phenomena that is--in a word--scary!  For fans of  The Can,  Escape from the Planet The Can (Swell Maps),  &  Battle for the Planet of The Can (SYPH). Comes w/a poster, sticker & download card as I recall.  One of my favorites.
